This policy explains what personal information the Emotion-Focused Therapy Institute India (“EFTii”, “we”, “us”) collects through www.eftii.com and our trainings, why we collect it and how we look after it. We follow India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
What we collect
- Newsletter: your first name and email address.
- Contact form: your name, email address, optional phone number and subject, and your message.
- Waitlists: your name, email address, optional phone number and the training you are interested in.
- Registration and payment: the details you enter on Razorpay’s payment page, such as name, email, phone number and billing details. Card and bank details go to Razorpay only; we never see or store them.
- During trainings: your attendance, which we need to issue certificates.
How we use it
- To reply to your messages and handle your registration.
- To send our newsletter, if you subscribed. Every newsletter has a way to unsubscribe, or you can write to us.
- To tell you about a training you joined the waitlist for.
- To keep records for accounting and certification, as the law and isEFT require.
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who processes it for us
- Google Workspace stores form submissions and our email.
- Razorpay processes payments.
- Zoom hosts our online trainings.
- Cloudflare hosts this website. It also runs Turnstile, a spam check on our forms, and privacy-friendly visitor statistics that use no cookies.
- Telegram is used to notify our team when a form is submitted.
These providers may store data outside India.
Cookies
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Our spam check (Cloudflare Turnstile) may set a strictly necessary cookie while you use a form.
How long we keep it
We keep newsletter details until you unsubscribe. We keep contact and waitlist messages for up to two years. We keep registration and payment records for as long as tax law requires.
Your rights
You can ask us to show, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop sending you emails. Write to contact@eftii.com and we will reply within 30 days.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the bottom of this page.
